Pete Davidson had an accident with his car after leaving his stand-up comedy show at The Wiltern in Los Angeles on Saturday night. The former “Saturday Night Live” cast member, who is currently in an 18-month diversion program following a reckless driving charge, hosted an afterparty. As he departed around 10 p.m., an onlooker witnessed him scraping his car against a wall while exiting the venue.
Exclusive photos obtained by Page Six reveal Davidson in the driver’s seat of a black GMC SUV with another man in the passenger seat and three others in the backseat. The pictures also display numerous scrape marks on one side of his vehicle, extending from the middle door to the rear wheel.
Surprised that it was Pete
According to a source, bystanders didn’t recognize Davidson until he left the car, causing everyone to exclaim upon hearing the accident. Fans were surprised to discover it was him, shouting, “Oh no, that was Pete!”
One of the photos captures Davidson, 29, holding what appears to be a cigarette in his hand while driving. At one point, the comedian, wearing a green hoodie, raised his hand to shield himself from paparazzi flashes.
Notably, other celebrities such as Machine Gun Kelly and Ruby Rose were present at the event, but they had already left before Davidson’s accident and were not photographed in his car.
Identity of passengers unclear
The identity of the other four passengers remains unclear, but it does not include rumored fling Madelyn Cline, despite her attending his recent show in Las Vegas.
Unfortunately, Davidson has had prior car accidents, including one with his former girlfriend, Chase Sui Wonders, in March. Reports indicated that Davidson lost control of his vehicle after hitting a fire hydrant at a high speed around 11 p.m. that night. The collision resulted in his car crashing into a residential home. Although the car sustained significant damage, airbags deployed, and no one was injured.
In July, Davidson was ordered to complete 50 hours of community service as part of his reckless driving charge. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office stated that if he fulfills certain conditions, there will be no criminal offense on his record.
