JK Rowling has now become one of the figureheads for the conservatives. Initially, she started off defending a woman who lost her job but was subsequently attacked for it. However, it seems that she is sticking to her principles where she supports biological women and feminism.
According to Newsweek, J.K. Rowling is igniting fresh controversy surrounding her views on transgender women in a recent viral post, amassing millions of views. The author has been unwavering in her opinions despite the impact on her profits. In response to a statement declaring “Trans women are women,” Rowling posted a simple yet firm “No.”
Furthermore, her response had garnered around 27 million views on social media. Rowling’s outspoken stance on this issue has divided her fan base, with some supporting her while others have distanced themselves from the Harry Potter franchise. Social media responses ranged from gratitude to criticism, highlighting the ongoing debate Rowling’s views have sparked since late 2019.
However, she has since gained a strong conservative following as many on the other side are agreeing with her. It is not uncommon for authors or notable people to pick a side in today’s politics.
JK Rowling causes a spark for her comments about trans women
If trans women are women then a white person can self ID as black and be able to claim black only things like scholarships and such

In addition to this, there are several transphobic comments towards the situation. An LGB group states that if someone is able to change their gender, it means that race swapping is possible as well. However, the current view of the situation is that transgender individuals are very different from transracial people.
It’s a non de plume, a pen name. She’s not pretending to be a man, she is writing under a different name. Not at all the same thing.

There are several liberals calling JK Rowling out on her post. Users state that she previously used male pen names in order to write her books, which they claim is a form of gender identity issues. However, others state that this has no relation to her being transgender as it was merely a pen name, which is a completely different thing.
Then you have a problem with the trans community because all of that is occuring.

Following that, those with a balanced viewpoint state that not all trans individuals are involving themselves in the radical movements that are happening. A large number of them simply want to live their lives as per normal, without a fuss.
