Pink

Pink announced on Instagram that she would be postponing her October 17 and 18 concert dates in Tacoma, Washington. She stated that the reason for the postponement is to take care of family medical issues that require her immediate attention.

“Family medical issues require our immediate attention. I send my sincerest apologies for any inconvenience caused. Love and health to all,” she said.

The Grammy award winning singer is mum to two children, Willow and Jameson and husband Carey Hart.

One fan wrote, “Take care of you and the family, we know you don’t cancel shows for any reason if not something really serious ❤️”, wrote one fan.

“Sending our love to you and your family. We hope everyone is okay,” said another fan.

Pink is in the midst of her Trustfall tour and has performed in Sacramento and San Francisco. She is expected to perform in Montreal, New York City and Miami throughout mid-November.

In an interview with Mikael Wood she spoke about why she enjoyed performing live.

“The second I step onstage, I’m in my heart, I’m in my body. There’s no other place that I operate – as a Virgo, as a mother, as the most responsible person I know – like the stage. It’s where I live,” she said.

She also said that she regrets making the song “We’ve got Scurvy?”, saying that it was a huge mistake. The song appeared in the 2009 compilation album “SpongeBob’s Greatest Hits”.

The song was a sea shanty and had lyrics about the disease often associated with the history of sailors and sea travel. She also made a music video for the single, in which she wore a pirate costume and appeared in a fish bowl, on a boat.

The lyrics of the song go as follows; “Our gums are black. Our teeth are falling out. We’ve got spots on our back, so give it up and shout. We’ve got scurvy. We need some vitamin C. We’ve got scurvy. We need a lemon tree.”
