Kim Kardashian is currently not ready to re-enter the dating world, but she has a clear vision of what she’s looking for when the time is right. In a recent episode of “The Kardashians,” the 42-year-old reality star discussed her thoughts on dating after her last relationship with Pete Davidson ended in August 2022.
While chatting with friends in London and being teased about potentially meeting “cute guys” at a sporting event, Kardashian emphasized her preference for someone more age-appropriate, ideally in their 40s.
She also mentioned that when you’re single while most of your friends are married, there’s often a sense of desperation from others to set you up with someone. However, Kardashian expressed her contentment with being on her own for the time being, believing that the right situation would come her way.
Past relationships
Kardashian has had several relationships in the past, including a three-year romance with Reggie Bush, marriages to Damon Thomas and Kris Humphries, and a tumultuous divorce from Kanye West, which was finalized in November 2022. Her relationship with Pete Davidson drew significant attention, especially given the public disputes involving Kanye West. Although she felt guilty about how their relationship affected Davidson, Kardashian is open to finding love again.
In a May 2023 podcast appearance and a season 3 episode of “The Kardashians,” she shared her optimism about finding love in the future. She considers herself a hopeless romantic and desires to share her life with someone, but she’s mindful of how her kids and other factors come into play. She’s waiting for the right person who will embrace the challenges and build a life together with her.
