iPhone 15 having issues with BMW wireless chargers

Apple is reportedly addressing iPhone 15 users’ complaints of NFC chip failures linked to BMW’s in-car wireless charging. According to an internal Apple memo obtained by MacRumors, an upcoming software update will rectify the issue, preventing a “small number” of in-car wireless chargers from temporarily disabling iPhone 15 NFC chips. Until the update is released, Apple advises users not to use their car’s wireless charger.

This problem has disrupted features like Apple Pay and the BMW digital key. BMW acknowledged the problem and is cooperating with Apple in investigating the issue. Affected models are unclear, so BMW and Toyota Supra owners should avoid using their wireless chargers temporarily.

Furthermore, it appears that Apple has gotten themselves in another controversy since the release of the iPhone 15. The Californian tech giant has seemingly been making errors in their products for the past few years. However, the same can be said for most major corporations.

X users are suspecting that the iPhone 15 is at fault. This was before Apple responded to the situation. They were asking the questions on whether BMW or Apple was at fault. Users already know the amount of flaws the latest iPhones have, and they immediately pinpointed that it is these new phones.

However, there are others who have used a BMW temporarily stating that their wireless chargers are in fact faulty. A user claims that his iPhone 12 overheats when using the car’s wireless chargers. Despite this, hardcore car fans state that it is the phone’s fault rather than the car manufacturer’s fault.

Regardless, it is rather sad to see Apple’s latest and greatest phone receiving a lot of hate from consumers. An X user claims to have upgraded from an iPhone 12 Pro Max to the new 15 Pro Max and states that it is just the same phone. This has been the case with iPhones for several years now.
