Charles

King Charles and Queen Camilla went to Kenya on October 30 aboard a luxury private jet on a five day state visit. They flew to Nairobi aboard the RAF Voyager which is used by senior UK government officials and working royals.

King Charles also made sure the fuel tanks were topped up with 40% sustainable fuel. His social media team posted a behind the scenes photo of the duo traveling in the jet where King Charles is pictured rifling through a Filofax in his plush chair.

The 74-year-old King looked good in a blue shirt and chinos and a lilac tie while his wife Queen Camilla, 76 was seen reading a similar document. The Queen wore a sleek navy outfit with a crisp white shirt, cozy jumper and a navy blazer.

The caption on the post reads, “the King and Queen flew to Kenya today ahead of their State Visit which begins tomorrow. Follow #RoyalVisitKenya for latest updates.”

Fans of the royal family were all ga-ga over the photos with a slew of comments.

“I love how cozy they both look, even though they are embarking on this great journey.”

“Love this video! I’m sure the tour will be a successful one,” reads another.

“I’m very excited about this! The King looks so delightful reading his important papers,” was another comment.

The itinerary for the Kenyan trip includes meeting with members of the Kenyan government, UN staff, faith leaders and young people. Charles and Camilla will also watch Kenyan marines, trained by Royal Marines staging a mock covert beach landing when they visit the Mtongwe naval base in Mombasa.

They will be greeted by Kenyan President William Ruto and his wife, First Lady Rachel Ruto at their official residence in Nairobi.

Charles and the Queen’s visit will cement relations between the two countries and reflect Kenya and the UK’s relationship in areas where they are working together ranging from climate change to promoting opportunities for its youth as well as employment.
