Donald Trump is being trolled online after he made fun of President Joe Biden recently. Trump said that Biden was not able to “put two sentences together”.
He made fun of him during his speech at the Team Trump Nevada Commit to Caucus event at Stoney Rockin Country in Las Vegas over the weekend.
He said 80-year-old Biden was simply too old to run and should not try to for a second time. He specifically referred to Biden’s speech gaffes which resulted in people online commenting that Trump himself had made similar gaffes.
“Today he couldn’t find the door again. He can’t put two sentences together and he’s in charge of nuclear warfare.” He also said that Biden was often incoherent and walked around the stage aimlessly asking, “Where am I?”, much to the amusement of the crowd listening as they burst out in laughter applauding his speech.
Buoyed up by the applause, Trump then said, “Honestly, we shouldn’t be laughing, we should be crying. Because honestly, they’re destroying our country, these incompetent fools.”
The jokes and memes
A clip of Trump saying Biden can’t put two sentences together was then uploaded on X (Twitter) by user @Acyn who often shares political speeches and interviews online.
The clip was then edited to read as follows; “They’re not doing well. They’re not being treated – and they are – they are right now at a level – I think we’re going to get – so we’re at 28.”
Editor and co-founder of online website Ben Meiselas then said, “He’s really not well. This isn’t a troll on him. He’s clearly gong through something serious.”
Political scientist Matt Flammable then said Trump was actually projecting more than a 12 screen cineplex.
Media Matters for America former analyst Steward Beckham said, “The power of disinformation is so great that a major portion of a presidential campaign speech can be simply projection.”
Even funnier was a reply by on X user who shared a gif with Melania Trump blinking with the caption, “Omg, when will it all end?”
