Is Donald Trump really beating Joe Biden in the polls? X users agree

In the latest The Economist/YouGov survey conducted from November 11 to 14 among 1,500 U.S. adults, former President Donald Trump holds a slight edge over President Biden in a direct matchup. Trump now leads by one point, securing 43 percent against Biden’s 42 percent, a positive shift from the previous survey where Trump gained one point while Biden remained at 42 percent.

Independents favouring Trump?

According to Breitbart, Independents also favour Trump, giving him a three-point advantage at 38 percent over Biden’s 35 percent. The survey delved into third-party preferences, revealing that 32 percent of registered voters favoured Robert F. Kennedy Jr., followed by eight percent for Cornel West and six percent for Jill Stein. Around 21 percent leaned towards another candidate, leaving 33 percent undecided.

When asked about the expected victor in a Trump-Biden rematch, 43 percent of registered voters sided with Trump, while 38 percent leaned toward Biden, and 19 percent remained uncertain. Consistently, Trump maintains a commanding lead in the Republican primary with 56 percent support.

Recent surveys indicate Trump’s national lead over Biden and show him ahead in critical swing states like Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and tying in Michigan, affirming his ongoing popularity among voters.

X users react to Trump beating Biden in polls

Apparently, X users are stating that they agree with the polls while making negative remarks of Joe Biden. An X user claims that the current US President is unpopular and that most people do not want to “suffer” another term under him. However, Democrats state that the President has reduced unemployment significantly.

There are several posts on X asking users whether Joe Biden or Donald Trump is the better President. Following that, a user claims that Trump invited his supporters to attend a rally and he proceeds to shake hands with all the veterans that are in the crowd. The user then claims that President Biden is not seen doing that as often.

Regardless, it seems to be a near tie when it comes to the two figureheads as there are both positive and negative sentiments about them.
