Oasis announces comeback tour in 2025

Rock band Oasis has announced that they will be reuniting for a comeback tour in 2025.

The tour will start at Cardiff Principality Stadium in Wales on July 4, and the band will play on 14 other dates all over the United Kingdom and Ireland.

The band’s frontmen, brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher, posted on X, “This is it, this is happening.”

Tickets will go on sale from 9 am on August 31 (UK time).

The announcement of the band’s reunion takes place just two days before the 30th anniversary of Oasis’ 1994 debut studio album, “Definitely Maybe”.

The album includes tracks like “Live Forever”, “Rock n Roll Star”, and “Supersonic”.

The brothers have been feuding ever since their band broke up in 2009, often openly disparaging each other in the media. At the time, Noel Gallagher had issued a statement on the band’s website saying, “It’s with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I quit Oasis tonight. People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer.”

On their reunion decision, the band issued a statement saying, “There has been no great revelatory moment that has ignited the reunion – just the gradual realization that the time is right. The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”

The band is also planning to play more concerts outside Europe next year.

In an interview with Mojo in February, Liam said that they were offered an opportunity for a reunion, but Noel said no. “It was a big tour, a lot of money. He turned it down,” said Liam.

2025 will also mark the 30th anniversary of their 1995 album “(What’s the Story) Morning Glory?” The album is Oasis’ second studio album and features super hit songs like “Wonderwall”,  “Don’t Look Back in Anger” and “Champagne Supernova”.
