Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) has withdrawn from the 2024 presidential race after facing challenges in gaining momentum during several debates. The decision was announced on former Rep. Trey Gowdy’s (R-SC) Fox News show, where Scott expressed that he will not be resumingi his presidential campaign when he returns to Iowa.
Scott stated, “I am suspending my campaign,” acknowledging the voters’ clear message that now is not the time for his candidacy. He refrained from endorsing any of his opponents and encouraged voters to carefully evaluate each candidate and their past to decide the country’s future.

Despite significant spending on ads promoting his optimistic conservative platform, Scott faced hurdles in breaking through the competitive primary. His key focus on debunking the woke leftist understanding of race in America was central to his campaign strategy. Scott emphasized an optimistic vision, contrasting with the political and cultural divides prevalent in the country.
While admitting room for improvement on both sides regarding race issues, Scott critiqued the leftist narrative that success for young African Americans is an exception, not the rule. In a presidential debate, he took a hawkish stance on foreign policy, advocating for accountability in resource allocation and emphasizing the need to degrade the Russian military while ensuring NATO partners’ safety.
