Being a single parent is extremely difficult for most people. Furthermore, being a two parent household, which is the traditional option, can also prove to be difficult, especially when the child is all grown up. However, a strange new trend is happening where there are multiple parents in one household raising multiple kids together.

The New York Post states, a multi-parental family, composed of two couples merged into one, faces the uncertainty of which man is the father of their children. After meeting online, the Hartless and Rogers families embraced this trend, living together harmoniously in Oregon, co-parenting all the kids as a unified family unit.

Following that, without seeing other people outside the family, they prioritise quad and one-on-one dates, sharing holidays and events together. The dynamic, although messy and unconventional, brings them joy.

With undefined paternity, they happily welcome new additions and share parental responsibilities, nurturing a love-filled, albeit complex, life that they openly embrace and defend, challenging societal norms with unity and love.

Conservatives confused with multi-parent families

However, to make light of the situation, some users are claiming that this is one of the rare ways for a family to be able to afford a house in this economy. It appears a working mother and father no longer cuts it. We would probably need two working mothers and fathers in order to comfortably pay the bills according to X users.

Others feel that the children need stability in order to grow up properly. However, the more liberal sided individuals feel that this is probably one of the more stable ways to raise a child. This point is having conservatives and liberals arguing with each other on what is the right way to raise a baby.

Regardless, this is the choice of the parents, and we cannot do anything much about the situation. Some conservatives are calling for an intervention, but nothing much will come out of that.
